Built against the rampart walls of Bundi Garh Palace, which rise majestically above the town, this 300 year old haveli is reachable on foot via a twisting alleyway leading up from the maze of streets, and is entered through the original magnificent 40ft -stone archway.

We stayed for one night at the excellent Bundi Villas and wished we could have stayed longer. Located in the centre of Bundi and very well hidden. Once found it unfolds and spreads out upwards. The property nestles into the walls of the Garh Palace which rises majestically behind it.

A breathtaking timeless moment in a sumptuous ancestral palace at the foot of a fort bordered by wild nature. A warm welcome from the owners who maintain a magnificent interior. Long live the fourteenth generation of the owner family! To be highly recommended.

We were here for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. Vishnu welcomed us from our car and wheeled, then carried, our cases up the steep, narrow alley then up 3 flights of stairs. The hotel wouldn’t work for anyone with mobility issues. Our room was very comfortable.

It's a lovely old haveli built against the city palace which means its location is perfectly central. The young staff team were all incredibly helpful and efficient. The food was excellent and sitting on the roof terrace at night looking over Bundi and the flood-lit palace was a wonderful experience.
